The Raleigh Summer Youth Employment Program helps teens between the ages of 15 and 18 to develop their skills and prepare for future employment by spending the summer working for the City of Raleigh.

- In-person Drop-in Interview Options:

- March 8 (10 am-12 pm)
- Location: Raleigh Pathway Center 900 S Wilmington Street Raleigh NC 27601
- Mandatory Orientation: May 17, 2025 NCSU McKimmon Center
- New Hire must attend with parent/guardian
- Program Dates: June 16 – Aug. 8, 2025
Program Requirements
Participants must:
- Â be age 15-18 as of May 31, 2025;
- live within the Raleigh city limits;
- be available to work June 16-Aug. 8;
- attend in-person program orientation on May 17;
- have computer and internet access, if you choose the virtual option;
- not miss more than five program days;
- not be enrolled in summer school; and,
- pass a Criminal Record Check and Drug Screening
