Talk about some truly “wicked” work.

As the film Wicked preps for its cinematic debut, several companies are busy shelling out pink & green merchandise, from cups to t-shirts and more. However, one company is under fire for a very unfortunate typo on their merchandise.

As reported by FOX59 in Indiana, Dan Goodwin was one of many parents who bought a Mattel doll for the movie. The back of the box featured the website “wicked.com.” Thinking that it was the movie’s website, Goodwin logged on to see if he could purchase advertising minutes.

What he found, however, was that the link was for a porn site.

Several other consumers also spotted the X-rated typo on their dolls.

It appears that the doll line is the only Wicked-themed product with such a typo, as other products such as LEGO sets and Fisher-Price Little People sets were marked safe.

Mattel released a statement on Monday (Nov. 11), apologizing for the error:

Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, primarily sold in the US, which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page.

We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children.

Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children. Consumers who already have the product are advised to discard the product packaging or obscure the link and may contact Mattel Customer Service for further information.

Wicked, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, hits theaters on November 22, and fans can check out the CORRECT website, WickedMovie.com, for more.
