Kids Voting Chatham is a non-partisan effort to help youth under 18 understand and believe in the power they have as engaged residents and informed voters. Kids Voting Chatham builds civic skills, knowledge, and identity in Chatham’s young people well before they turn 18. Library staff nurtures each of these elements through educational tools, family engagement, youth voice, and authentic kid elections.
