The Department of Education was trying its best to honor W.E.B DuBois for Black History Month. They fell short of the mark when the official Twitter site spelled his named wrong. Who’s in charge of the Department of Education’s Twitter account Betty Devos?
The NAACP responded to the misspelled tweet on Sunday with another quote from Du Bois and emphasis on his name spelled correctly.
