Using Space Heaters During Frigid Weather

An Arctic blast is expected later this week in the Triangle, and as temperatures drop below freezing, more people are bringing out their space heaters to stay warm. According to the National Fire Protection Association, space heaters are among the leading causes of winter fire deaths.

Here are a few safety tips to prevent most heating fires from occurring.
