Debra Saunders-White, the 11th Chancellor and the first permanent woman chancellor named at NCCU, passed away November 26, 2016 after a heroic battle with kidney cancer. She made it her mission to carry out “Eagle Excellence” on campus and in the community.

In an exclusive interview three years ago, Saunders- White shared her goals, vision and aspirations for the university.
