After cracking the top 20 iTunes downloads chart a few weeks ago, Jay Z’s Tidal has dropped out of the 700. Yikes. Meanwhile, Pandora and Spotify came in at No. 3 and No. 4 on April 20, respectively.
While it seems like Tidal is a massive fail, The Carters have a plan, they’re allegedly dropping an exclusive joint album on the music streaming service. (At least that’s what sources tell DJ Skee.)
Unless Jay and Bey plan on dropping an album a month, we don’t have high hopes for Tidal.

Michael Bae Jordan Talks Fantastic 4
Hey Bae!
Our boo Michael B. Jordan is on the press trail promoting his new movie Fantastic 4 and he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to drop off the trailer for its first broadcast premiere. Jordan, who plays The Human Torch in the Marvel remake, briefly opened up about the backlash he’s faced over his race. In case you’re not a comic book fan, The Human Torch is typically White.
“It’s one of those things, I don’t like drawing attention to the ignorance,” he said. Catch Fantastic 4 in theaters August 7.

Backstage at the Love & Hip Hop: NY reunion, VH1 cameras stopped by Yandy Smith’s dressing room where the reality star opened up about her former friendship with Jim Jones and Chrissy.
At first, we weren’t sure if Yandy was throwing shade at her old clients/ Love & Hip Hop co-stars Chrissy and Jim Jones, but after watching the entire video, there’s no denying it.
Chrissy and Jim Jones are the least of Yandy’s worries. It was reported yesterday, her future husband Mendeecees is facing up to 10 years in prison.

The Real In Hot Water After Discrimination Complaint

Daytime talk show The Real is facing a possible lawsuit after two Muslim women wearing hijabs claim they were asked to move out of camera view when they attended a show taping in February at the Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, TheHollywoodLife reports. The women were allegedly told that they could not sit in the front row because it conflicted with the studio’s policy.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued a complaint against the popular show. Fatima Dadabhoy, Senior Civil Rights Attorney for the Council on American-Islamic Relations Los Angeles branch, released the following statement:
“Warner Bros. has no legal justification for removing the hijab-wearing women from the camera’s view. No studio should maintain such a discriminatory policy that prohibits people wearing religious head coverings from being seen in its studio audiences. It’s especially baffling that this particular show would want to hide their visibly-Muslim viewers, when the show purports to cater to a wide-ranging audience with its diverse cast.”
Warner Bros responded:
“Warner Bros. policy is to welcome everyone and anyone into our studio audience. ‘The Real’ is a show that was created to represent and celebrate diversity. We take this inquiry seriously and are looking into the matter.”
We’ll just have to see how this plays out.
