Rod Man wants to let Black people know he’s still doing comedy. After winning NBC’s Last Comic Standing, he says people are unsure what he’s up to, now that he’s won the show.

“Black people say I don’t know what you’re doing but I’m proud of you,” he says. “I’m just calling in to say I’m still doing comedy.”

He has a show in coming up in West Nyack, N.Y.

“It’s 25 miles outside New York,” he says. “Gas done went down so don’t act like you don’t know,” Rod Man says.

Has his life changed since the win? He says he’s hiring.

“Awww, man I got a squad,” he says, until his phone starts messing up. “They didn’t give me a landline yet,” he says.
