This weekend all eyes are on Birmingham as the annual Magic City Classic which pits Alabama State University vs. Alabama A&M. The Classic has been going on for 72 years and attracts all kinds of celebrities to the region.
This year’s concerts include Bell Biv Devoe and Frankie Beverly and Maze. If you can’t get down to Alabama this weekend, both the NFL and major league baseball are on TV, with a big game in the NFL and two games in the World Series going on this weekend.
If you’re in the nation’s capitol, so is Gladys Knight, and for those of you who’ve heard all the buzz about the movie, Dear White People, opens nationwide.
