Former US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, was nearly hit by a shoe during a speech in Las Vegas on Thursday. Clinton dodged the object at the last second and jokingly played it off, “Thank goodness she didn’t play softball like I did.” The shoe throwing assailant was taken into custody and is said to have later revealed that the item in question was a shoe, naturally.
You may recall, former President George W. Bush dodged shoes thrown at him by an Iraqi journalist during press conference in Baghdad in 2008.
