Each year, Gallup asks Americans to name the living man and woman they most admire. Although it’s been a difficult year for President Obama, but for the sixth straight year, the survey indicates President Barack Obama ranks as the most admired man. Obama, at 16%, beat out predecessor George W. Bush and Pope Francis, each of whom had 4%.

Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Senator from New York, 2008 Democratic presidential candidate, and former first lady, topped the Gallup survey 18 times, she captured 15% support this year as the most admired woman. Oprah Winfrey was the second most admired woman at 6%, followed by first lady Michelle Obama and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, each at 5%.
