NBA Wives Learn About Business, Say They Are Just Like You

The group Basketball Wives About Buisness was at The Umstead Hotel in Cary, NC this past week. Wives of well-known NBA players participated in a multi-day conference that exposed them to information on creating, launching and running their own businesses successfully.

Raleigh, NC native Tiffany Wilcox (married to Chris Wilcox of the Boston Celtics) founded the group with the understanding that the wives and girlfriends of the NBA are everyday women with college degrees, aspirations and tons of drive. She sat down with Radio One’s Karen Clark along with several other participants to discuss the goals of the group, their thoughts on their counterparts on reality television and how they aren’t all that different from us.
