National Night Out In The Triangle And Surrounding Areas
National Night Out events will be held throughout the Triangle on Tuesday. The event aims to raise awareness of crime prevention and designed to:
•Heighten crime, drug and violence prevention awareness;
•Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
•Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
•Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
All National Night Out events are free. In cities and towns, including Raleigh, Creedmoor, Durham, neighbors can enjoy food, games and other activities while meeting local law enforcement officials.
