Zimmerman: First Court Appearance
George Zimmerman made his first court appearance this afternoon. Judge Mark Herr set a formal arraignment for May 29 at 1:30 p.m. Also, Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, asked for future court files to be sealed, and both sides agreed.
Prior to the hearing, O’Mara had said he planned to ask the judge to allow Zimmerman to post bond, though he believed it would be difficult.
