Shaw Lady Bears Victorious

Defense was the key, in the Shaw Lady Bears come from behind victory 88-82 over Ashland (Ohio) to win their first Div II National Title.They came into the tournament unranked and now have the respect of the nay-sayers.

Shaw University will recognize the Lady Bears with an on-campus “Welcome Home” celebration this afternoon at 2:30p.m. in front of Estey Hall.
