Holiday Festivities

This weekend was fun filled and festive for the entire family at the Durham Holiday Fest. Kids and grown up kids slide down a big hill packed with snow! There were food vendors, trackless train rides, music and performances, campfire sing-a-long, a Santa meet and greet, an interactive corner for kids, mini parade and old movies at the Armory.

In Raleigh, Winterfest kicked off with the opening of the ice rink in City Plaza, holiday tree lighting by Mayor Meeker, dancing, music, storytelling, carousel rides, performances from local choirs, bands and dance companies and more.
