Mom runs over baby in car seat
A Warren County infant was critically injured Monday morning when his mother accidentally ran over him while he was strapped into a car seat, authorities said Tuesday.
Shakita Williams, 26, of 132 Norlina Pines Drive, set the car seat down in front of her Ford Explorer while she put two older children into the SUV at about 7:30 a.m., Warren County Sheriff Johnny Williams said. She then ran back into her apartment to see if she had forgotten anything inside before getting back into the vehicle, he said.
